Under a new agreement with Solid Terrain Modeling (STM), International Mapping will become an authorized reseller of all STM products and services. This agreement couples our expertise in digital map design and production with STM’s revolutionary model manufacturing process. The results are 3D models that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are accurate in detail.
STM’s new manufacturing process utilizes digital elevation data to control highly-calibrated cutting and painting machines that are capable of producing precise 3D models. The models are cut into high-density foam and then painted with detailed color raster images, producing lifelike replicas of the earth that were previously impossible to achieve.
